Access to Real Estate Investments

Many people do not know the basics of real estate investing and how to choose properties. There are also many people that do know how, but do not have the time to look through millions of properties that match their criteria. Additionally, there are many institutional investors who would like to place large sums of capital into specific investments, but can’t find options that are the size they require without having to manage thousands of individual properties. REITs provide a never before seen vehicle that will make it easy for all different types of investors to invest in various real estate assets.

Using the REITs structure, investors will be able to invest in any real estate market they would like to invest in, filtered by:

  • Geographic location

  • Property type (e.g. multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, etc.)

  • Asset class (e.g. Class A, B, or C properties)

REITs provide exposure to real estate without too much exposure to any one asset. Institutional investors are able to place large capital investments into specific sectors they would like to invest in and real estate novices are able to diversify their investments in a simple manner. The purpose of the REITs is to provide liquid tokens that can act as an index to the real estate market as a whole instead of single properties or certain geographic areas and property types. This token provides value to those who are not knowledgeable about real estate or simply don't want to pick out a real estate portfolio one by one, but would still like to diversify their investment portfolio into the real estate market.
